Most language learners I know love watching TV shows and movies to improve their language skills. While I wouldn’t say that I'm obsessed with movies or TV shows (I’m more of a documentary kind of girl), I do remember feeling a twinge of guilt whenever I would watch with subtitles on. "If I keep using subtitles, will I ever be fluent? Am I truly learning if I listen to the characters and read the subtitles simultaneously?"
