How I Became Fluent in English

My journey towards English fluency began back in 2011. I was a senior in high school, and that was the year I became extremely passionate about languages in general. Not only that, I became passionate about teaching. What if I told you that teaching English was primarily what led me to becoming a fluent English speaker? 

For the longest time, I had always said I wanted to be a biologist. I had always loved nature, so I figured biology was the path for me... until I found out I've always loved teaching! How come I never realized I was the one always helping my friends learn in school? I also loved playing school with my dolls! As an 11-year-old, I remember making spreadsheets with their grades, writing exams for them... I was serious! How come I never thought I'd be a teacher?
