Do you have good memory?

Tell me your name, and I’ll probably ask you to repeat it a few more times. I know, sometimes this can be obnoxious, so I apologize if I ever do this to you. Unfortunately, I cannot remember a time when I could say I had “good short-term memory.”

Growing up, I attended a school where tests were given at the end of class to check students’ understanding of the content that was just taught. Believe me, the only time I did well on those tests was in my history classes. For some reason, stories have always stuck in my head right away, but I can’t say the same about numbers and formulas. Okay, so why this whole spiel about not having a good short-term memory? Because today I want to talk about why you may feel like you don’t have good memory when speaking English.
